Fire risk assessments how often?
Fire risk assessments how often should they be carried out? All assessments should be looked at least once per year. They should also be looked at if there are changes to the building, layout and also work practices. In addition, a review should be carried out if there are large changes in staff numbers.
Fire training recommend that a consultant carried out the first fire risk assessment. If there are few issues, an in house annual review could be carried out by a competent person. However, if they serious problems, a consultant should carry our the next FRAs so the building achieves safety.
